Hey guys, sorry we failed to post last night.
Yesterday we left Moab and spent the morning in Arches National Park. It was way cool. I would suggest going there if you never have, but it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and is quite the trip. But if you're ever that way, hit it up. Canyonlands is right near it, too, and I hear that is really cool, though we decided to opt out of that one.
We got to Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon, where we will be spending the weekend with my brother and his fiance. They have a corgi dog named Huck, who is super cute, and way skinnier than the sausage corgi my parents have (sorry, Mom, it's true). We took him for a walk around the beautiful park that is just across the street and he was quite excited to see grass, dirt, and anything that moved. After being here last night, the city seems really cool. Weird, but really cool. Apparently the Olympics being here really made the city a lot more awesome and a lot less strange. The parks are beautiful, the city library is really cool-looking, and the downtown area just seems really nice.
Today we are headed to the farmer's market (that was featured in Bon Appetit mag) and perhaps to Temple Square (learn a little about the culture, ya know).
Pictures of Arches coming soon, we promise!
Katie
